The City Church is a place where people come and feel welcome, stay and keep growing, go and reach out.
The City Church is an evangelical, non-denominational church and a church plant of Ggaba Community Church. It is fully registered with the Non-Government Organization Board and the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB).
We are a proud member of the Fellowship of Community Churches in Uganda and have been actively serving our community for over 10 years in Luzira-Kitintale. Today, The City Church operates three branches located in Luzira, Kirinya, and Iganga.
Our vision for all our branches is to be a model church that serves all segments of society — the high-income, middle-income, and the marginalized — with compassion and excellence. While we seek to reach everyone, we are intentional about engaging the influencers in our communities. We believe that by empowering those who have influence — defined in our context as anyone who has attained at least a Senior 6 level of education — we are better positioned to uplift and serve the marginalized effectively.
Our ultimate vision is to be a city church influencing our city, our country, our continent, and the world — in Jesus’ name.
